Hi there,

We are the Stone family!

This journey began in 2022 while travelling across Australia in a bus. Inspired by our adventures, we decided to purchase a retro caravan and transform it into a fully licensed tattoo studio. The idea was to take our craft on the road, to festivals, and wherever our hearts desired.

However, life had another plan for us when we found out we were expecting a baby. With excitement and determination, we redirected our path and settled back on the Sunshine Coast to make our dream a reality.

Now, nestled on the vibrant Sunshine Coast, our mobile tattoo studio stands as a testament to our adventurous spirit and creative passion. It's not just about tattoos for us - it's about creating unforgettable experiences and sharing our art with the world.

Come join us on this journey as we ink stories and memories one design at a time.

Meet Stu

Stu Stone is the creative force behind Ritual Ink’s hand-poke tattoos. He began his tattooing journey in 2021, starting with a hand-poke kit, tattooing his own feet and legs, and quickly discovered a natural talent for the craft. Since then, he has honed his skills under experienced tattoo and creative arts mentors, deepening both his technique and his artistic vision.

Passionate about hand-poke tattooing, Stu specialises in ceremonial and intention-driven tattoos - markings that honour life transitions, personal milestones, and meaningful moments. Every tattoo he creates is designed to be purposeful, unique, and deeply connected to the person receiving it. His sessions are unhurried and intentional, creating a calm, grounding space where each piece is made with care and presence.

When he’s not in the studio, Stu can often be found adventuring outdoors with the family, camping, surfing, lifting weights, and staying active. These moments of connection and play fuel his creativity and bring balance to his life, making every tattoo a reflection of intention, life, and experience.

Meet Sara

Sara is the heart behind the scenes at Ritual Ink, supporting the studio through graphic design, web and social media design, and all things admin. She keeps the wheels turning and ensures every part of the studio reflects the care and intention that Ritual Ink is known for.

Alongside her behind-the-scenes work, Sara is also learning the art of tattooing, gradually building her skills under Stu’s guidance. She occasionally helps bring tattoo designs to life, collaborating with Stu to create pieces that are thoughtful and meaningful. Together, they make a creative and grounded team, blending artistry, intention, and care in everything they do.

Ritual Ink will occasionally host local, interstate and international artists. This will be advertised on our social media platforms.
